Ground-Breaking Web 2.0 Study Available;
Digital Version Features Live URLs
More than 55 percent of associations have tried at least one social media application, and more than one third of associations have set up their own social media site, according to the Angerosa Research Foundation’s new study, Web 2.0: How Associations Are Tapping Social Media.
Delivered in print and digital formats, this follow-up to the Foundation’s E-Publishing Trends & Metrics report identifies key trends in this ever-evolving new media. It details associations’ Web 2.0 activities and how they are engaging their members and other target audiences. The digital version also includes an extensive collection of live links to hundreds of associations’ social media sites.
More than 300 association communications, publishers, and executive staff participated in this first-ever study. They gave feedback on their associations’ involvement in Web-based social media (Facebook, MySpace, Second Life, etc.), blogs, wikis as well as input on how they use these platforms, level of participation by members, biggest challenges and opportunities identified in using them, and their plans for the future.
The report includes comprehensive research findings and data analyzed by association scope, type, and staff size. All survey participants receive a complete summary of findings at no charge, and special discounts apply when purchasing both Web 2.0 (Vol. II) and E-Publishing (Vol. I), which are both available on our site.
